These works have become beloved landmarks, drawing travelers from across the country and keeping the stories of service and sacrifice alive.
The Medal of Honor Murals project builds on that legacy, taking the mission to new heights—literally. Towering, double-sided murals along U.S. Highway 20 honor individual Medal of Honor recipients, sharing their acts of courage through vivid, hand-painted art. Each mural is both a work of art and a permanent memorial, ensuring these stories live on for generations.
